This is the first release from Slovenian based producer Ichisan AKA (Igor Skafar).
And although he’s still relatively new to the scene, you can allready hear that he’s got a lot of talent to offer! These 2 original tracks sound so good they also could have been made by someone with years of experience.. i mean, think Quivver mixed together with Roykssöp and you’re coming close.. Well its not Quivver here but the sound of Ichisan is definitely called Progressive.. But then with an 80′ies, Nu-Disco kinda Vibe going on.. Quality stuff from a man whose only just begon..

Born in Dublin, Ireland and raised gypsy style in Barcelona, Spain, Graham Goodwin aka ‘Sian’ has released some classy records over the last 2 years on quality labels like Pokerflat, Dessous and Karmarouge. He’s considered to be one of the hottest “new kids on the block” in the Techno community, and his production style is arty, unique and childlike simple.
The ‘Robot in The Forest EP’ is one of Sian’s first releases which was originally released in 2006 on Dirt Crew Recordings. First track ‘Robot in the forest’ is a dark, minimal groover with a powerful bassline that pumps its way through the solid and sparse beat programming. With just a few FX Sian creates a dark and spooky atmosphere which makes this a perfect tool for either Techno or House Dj’s that like their music stripped and basic. ‘Sacred Heart’ follows a different path, with a catchy melody laid on a fat techy groove.. And last track ‘Apparition’ is a smooth and atmospheric, deep burner with an almost sacred feeling and ongoing flow of sweet strings and beautiful arrangements.. Early Quality stuff from a talent in a nutshell;)
