each time you post on oron, i got to find other link cause oron is too slow, and only 1 download per 2 hours.
So once i got the hotfile or rapidshare, or any other link (not oron), i just got to paste it in epikal for the rest.
this way, just maybe, one day, someone will do the same for me.
And sorry, but i stiil think im helping people in epikal
and relax, i havent got time to do this all days, if i had, i would wait for oron. but maybe someone else does?

I think you should add this rule on Posting Guidelines :
1.Authors who violate / break a rule – 1 week on post review
2.Authors who violate / break two rules – 2 week on posts review
and so go on…
You know what I would really appreciate (and maybe others will too) ? Something like a Top 10 or Top 5 displayed on the first page of epikal that shows the most accessed posts of the day. This way I can get my music faster even if that means going after the majority’s taste (in terms of music, of course), but at least it saves me some time. I can’t search for every release anymore but I’m still addicted to house music… Think about it guys. Anyway, thank you for existing

At least the release notes are something readers can use. Of course, if someone posts release notes and then someone else posts them, the second person’s comment should be deleted.

Because hotfile began to ban accounts for uploading copyrighted material, not only deleting files like filesonic do. That’s why almost everyone who uploads copyrighted material on file hosts are ended with hotfile

This site has gone down hill over the past few years. No longer is wiki a unique site where people share music they had actually listened to themselves and recommend to others. Its now just like any other pirate music site with the content. except this site is worse, as it has up-loaders fighting over getting hits so they can make money. Most of the links are dead as people report each other. I still come and visit on here as there are still a few good up-loaders who share there personal favorites that make it worth while. on the whole though the site is a mess. everybody seems to have been corrupted by cash.
What would you recommend? I’m all for making changes if the community feels they are needed to provide a better experience.

I do agree with Fisgdog that the average post on W-KI is merely based to obtain financial leverage and not on sharing ‘Quality’.
The pitty side is that everyone can cross post links nowadays, redo the outlook, links and destroy the music scene … because why bother to buy if you have multiple resources for free ..
The concept of spreading music is based upon sharing music and if you like it, make some effort, go out and buy it. The ground priciple of the SCENE has nothing to do with MONEY, just MUSIC!.
By letting individuals detroying this, you being the frontman of W-KI should show your skills and act with discretion to halt this ‘leeching’.
